  • Disappointed for the last time.. I went again today since I was craving for some pasta. Told the waitress that I have tried the Uni and the squid pasta so let her choose 3 pasta dishes and a main course just so I can try something different from this place. (If you're wondering about the Uni pasta its all the way on the bottom of my review.) Quick summary to my most recent experience: Wagyu with tomato cream pasta: watered down, cant taste the cream, tastes like canned crushed tomato with wet noodles. Soy based pasta with mushroom and kurobuta pork: interesting since its like a pasta fused with ramen. Tasted like aglio e olio (olive oil and garlic pasta) mixed with shoyu ramen. So far this was the only good dish. Japanese Carbonara: liquidy, flavorless, cant taste the egg, at least pasta is cooked perfect.. Took some of the left over home and added a fried egg which made waaay it better.. Kurobuta tonkatsu: pretty decent tonkatsu with cheese inside, under-seasoned.. Desserts: Panna cotta was delicious Back sesame manger was so-so Tiramisu was meh.. I've been to this trattoria a total of 4 times. First time I was here I was about 4 years ago and was blown away by the Uni Cream Pasta and the Squid ink pasta. A month later I brought my friends here to show off my newly found "favorite place", ordered the same things only to be served watery versions of those dishes.. I went back a year ago since I was craving for some Uni Pasta and let me just say that the perfectly cooked pasta and fresh Uni was the only good thing about the preparation since the sauce was, you guessed it, watered down and flavorless..
