  • I'm not a fan of pretentious people or restaurants. So the whole vibe was rubbing me the wrong way when they handed me the menu and I saw that the least expensive "real" steak was $45. Our waiter was fantastic. He offered us the house specials, his recommendations, and giggled when we went against his advice. For desert we ordered a $10 slice of peanut butter pie (against his advice) and it was so tiny that it wouldn't even fill and elf. We asked if this was a sample and he said, "No, I'm sorry, tee hee, that's all you get! Tee hee!" (I warned you!) The food was good but I've been spoiled with too many steaks done over charcoal. Pan fried meats turn me off. Honestly, I'd rather have hamburger over mesquite charcoal than a filet mignon cooked on a pan. All in all it was a great meal but when I know I could have had a better meal someplace else for less than the tip I feel like and idiot.
