I am so disappointed in our medical system. The only reason I go to this clinic is because my insurance has made it the only "in-network" clinic.
I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time because I understand that clinics can get backed up. Finally, I asked how long it would be. I was told there was an emergency and that it would only be another 10 minutes. All I ask is that the front desk have the care about their patients to give me an update.
Prior to this appointment I had gone in for a routine exam and had asked about prenatal diet changes. The NP told me that stopping drinking was not necessary until I had a positive pregnancy test...which is completely insane!!
3 weeks later I had a positive test and called the office with concerns of pain and I was told that it's completely normal and to just come in at the 8 weeks mark for an intake appointment.
Now I'm here, still with pain still concerned as I'be been waiting in the lobby for an hour.
This is my first pregnancy and I feel as if no one cares or has the time of day to walk me through what to expect.
I will from now on being going to a clinic and paying cash because I am so disappointed in the care I'm receiving.
