  • It's pretty rare for me to give a hotel five stars, but I could not find a flaw here in my experience. Staff A++ Super-friendly people that go out of their way to help you. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff. Room A+ Nicely remodeled. Good bed. A fridge and microwave too!!! Very nice shower and bathroom. Lots and lots of connectivity. Free internet and a faster version for $5. Location A+ Near the heart of downtown. Within walking distance of the arena, Nascar hall of fame, and the football stadium. I took a nice walk through downtown no problem. Also very close to shopping and restaurants. They have a free van service that will take you within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Other A++ The bar at this hotel is fantastic (Q Tavern). They have 8 local craft drafts to choose from, plus another 20+ craft beers in bottles and cans. And for you yocals who still drink Bud/Coors/Crapola, they got that too. Plus wine and liquor as well. The food from the tavern is really good, which I wasn't expecting. Breakfast - for a free breakfast, it's sufficient. Eggs, bacon, muffins, biscuits, juices, coffee, toast, bagels, cereal, etc. I would definitely stay here again. Stayed for an event at the Sheraton and enjoyed the 1 block walk each morning and evening.
