I give this four stars because it truly feels like a getaway from vegas lights. You have the Vegas Strip view... but from a distance. It is beautiful at night. Also, none of that "club/lounge" establishments, with there loud music. It is such a great place for walking the dogs too.
The District is separated into two parts. One area has cheesecake factory and the more 'kids' entertainment area. The other attaches to the GVR. And even though there is a casino next door, it doesnt feel that way when you are walking around. Some evenings, they host the Wine Walk, and other nights they have live music. They also have art night, where paintings and sculptures are put on display in the walking areas.
I actually wish this place was a bit bigger, and I also wish it had a little bit more foot traffic.
