  • In all fairness, this Walmart fills a community need. Ample jobs are created. (A paycheck is a paycheck in these tough times, right?) And the store is packed full of useful and affordable everyday products. The low prices may hurt locally-based competitors; however, they are a great benefit to somebody more important: you, me, and our children. I regret there isn't a full-scale grocery section here. I also wish the staff was not so un-service oriented. Even with that said, as a scholar of economics, I appreciate the efficiency of the Walmart operations model -- unhelpful as the staff may be. When the going gets tough, the tough (should) get going...to Walmart. It's not ideal, but it helps many people get by. Grade: B+
