  • I do not remember the last time I was this disappointed with a coffee shop. In fact, I don't think I ever have been. My fiancé and I love checking out different coffee shops, and I was super excited to try Verrado Coffee---as it is 5 minutes away from our house. When we finally decided we'd try it out, I was literally giddy walking in. With the dog paintings on the outside wall, and the inside décor being cozy and welcoming, I could not wait to make this my new coffee house. However, after being greeted by someone who appeared to heavily dislike their job, and seeing the ridiculous prices on the menu board, I, then, couldn't wait to get out of there. I refused to order an overpriced Chai Latte, so my fiancé and I both ordered two breakfast burritos. I about fell to the floor when I heard the cashier tell us how much we owed her! Over $14.00 for two very small egg and turkey burritos! Ok, I thought, these better be some 'out-of-this world' tasting burritos. Nope. Just average, small, forgettable burritos. Never again, Verrado Coffee Company. I was not impressed with your pretentiousness.
