  • Mon Ami Gabi has been on my radar for a while ever since my friend told me it was her favorite steakhouse on the Strip, but I never had a reason to come here. That changed once I decided that I wanted to treat my girlfriend out to a nice dinner before we left Vegas! After all, the ambience on Yelp says "romantic" right??? I have no idea why I haven't come here sooner, because the food here is AMAZING!!! I had the bone-in ribeye and my girlfriend had the filet mignon. Seriously, one of the best cooked steaks I've ever had from any restaurant. Considering how much the steaks were on the menu (everything is under $50!), I wasn't expecting all THAT much. Nope, this steak was better than steaks that I've had that were way more expensive than this one. Pleasantly surprised by this! The appetizers here are also on point. Had the crispy duck confit, shrimp cocktail, and oysters du jour. Everything was great, but DEFINITELY do not leave here without trying to crispy duck confit! Last note on food, I appreciate how there's legitimately an entire gluten-free menu on the side since my girlfriend can't have gluten. Even through an initial read of the regular dinner menu, I figured everything would be fine. But definitely appreciate that an entirely separate gluten-free menu exists. Service was excellent! Our waiter made sure we had a memorable time here. Very helpful and accommodating. Ambiance is as they say. It's dimly lit, but not too dark inside the dining room. Perfect for date night! What a wonderful experience on my first visit here! No question that a return trip will be forthcoming!
