  • People always bitch about stuff when it doesn't go right.. well, I'm here to post about something that went fantastically right thanks to the delivery drivers Carlos and Phillip from the Apache Junction, AZ Lowes. When Home Despot refused to match Lowes 24 months no interest offer, I cancelled my order with them for my $2300 fridge and I got a Lowes credit card and ordered the fridge. I ordered it on the 29th of June and had no idea when it would be delivered but we were just happy we got the fridge we wanted at the price and financing we wanted. See, our other fridge is a Whirlpool as well and it's lasted 21 years but we're afraid that it will die on us all the sudden and then we're stuck making an emergency purchase on a new fridge and not getting $1000 off and 24 months no interest. Well, I just got home today and when I turned the corner after entering from the garage, there was a new Whirlpool fridge in the kitchen where the old one used to be, and the old one is along another wall so we can still use it until it dies... Okay.. so why the long story? Here's the best part! We had no idea they were coming and when the drivers showed up, my wife was at home and the kitchen wasn't prepared for the new fridge. Carlos and Phillip went way out of their way to move the old fridge and then had to struggle and work miracles to get the new one thru the front door. They got it in and all hooked up and left the kitchen spotless. (Pro hint: if you have linoleum and need to move a fridge sideways, spray the floor with windex and it will slide and not tear your floor..thanks Carlos and Phillip for that) My wife was so very impressed with these two hard working men that I just had to post about the backstory and how it all went. I will be a Lowes customer for a very long time. Good Bye Home Despot.
