Seldom do You see a review unless someone is making a complaint. I went to Dr. E for some left shoulder pain I had seen a former coworker of his back in '09 and that doctor wanted me to do surgery glad I waited cause Dr. E. Is very conservative and will try other things first before automatically sending you to surgery. I went to Dr. E after 4 months of PT we tried cortisone shots didn't do much good for me he had me continue with PT and wasn't opposed to me seeing the chiropractor. Saw my chiropractor he got better range of motion but my shoulder continued to hurt like he*l. Went back to Dr. E went over all tests and talked to me at length pros and cons of surgery, best and worst case scenario of surgery. I am so glad I waited until March 2015 to have surgery and lucky enough to have Doctor E be my surgeon.
I need to connect with my doctors and someone who is caring otherwise I will walk and find a new doctor. Grant it Dr. E does not carry his heart on his sleeve he typically has a dry sense of humor and if you go in knowing that about him you will have an excellent experience with him. He knows what he's doing and he is not going to go in and do a full repair if all he has to do is a partial and can get the same results as a full. May seem strange but there are doctors who will do a full job just to get the higher pay.
I'm shocked by some of these reviews Dr. Evangelista couldn't be further from what these negative feedbacks say. Like I said he just repaired my left shoulder on March 4, 2015 removing bone spur and a bicep tendon that had grown scarred onto my rotator cuff not sure of the technical terms but an odd case. He could have ripped the rotator cuff to repair it but he knew I wouldn't have wanted that so he went the more conservative route and did some cauterization and cutting the tendon just before hitting the cuff. Recovery will be short!
Thank you Dr. E
