I stayed here just as the switch to Planet Hollywood was being made. I didn't have huge expectations, but was really pleasantly surprised. The room was nice (standard Vegas amenities) with a big bathroom. The service was good and there were plenty of small denomination tables for a small-time gambler like me. Some of the other casinos are more my style (PH I was told is retro-70s) but it was still pretty nice. The dealers were all pretty good. A review of the buffet should probably be done separately but I would note that I was disappointed. The shopping area was good (not that I really go to Vegas to shop). The cocktail servers were prompt. Finally, the room wasn't ridiculously expensive. All in all this is a really good place to stay and gamble.
