| - We came here for the first time on May 21, for my mans birthday and I have to say, this place is definitely a hidden gem. U think "Four Queens? Isn't that place super old and run down?" Well it is! But this place is located slightly underground when u come in and look for it u go down a set of stairs and end up at the front of the restaurant. It has to be the most romantic place I have ever dined at. It's very old school with the brick walls and the servers dressed in two piece tuxs. The ladies receive a rose when u come in, so cute! The tables or booth have a cute candle light area with a single flower vase for your rose. And surprisingly, my man knew the manager who he worked with at a different restaurant, so it was nice to run into someone we knew there he kindly got us a booth in the corner which was perfect! Richard is the manager, and he was kind enough to buy us a drink for my mans birthday!
Now onto the food/drink service - I got a raspberry cocktail (recommended by our sever, so didn't get the name) and my man just got the house cab. Our servers were David (I think) can't remember his name because he didn't really make an impression on us, sadly. But his partner Victor, lat me tell you, he's been there for years, he's an older gentlemen but such a great person! He was the highlight of our night! He was attentive and had a great sense of humor with everything. So thank you Richard for giving us his station just as u recommended he was really great. If u plan on going in, ask for victor u will love him!! Ok so u get bread service they drop off a basket w about three kinds of bread and then u get a cute rose shaped butter (to make it more romantic) hehe. Then we got seafood on ice for two as shown in picture below. It was good nothing special since it is a simple appetizer but it was still yummy. Then you order your entrees and you get a table side salad service! So Victor starts it for u and he just kinda goes down the list and u answer yes or no if u want it in your salad and he makes it right in front of u and he's funny you're guaranteed to laugh with him. Then you are served your salad, u get to choose from three kinds of dressings and he tosses it for u. It comes with every entree! So then u finish your salads and the busser comes and serves you a cute little raspberry sorbet on a cone it's called a "palette cleanser" I believe and that was cute and yummy. So they do that before u get your entree. Then u get your food and ugh it's amazing! It comes w a garlic mash and few veggies. I get a ribeye which I personally love ribeye so I always get that (done medium) and my man got a filet (medium rare), it has a name to his entree which we couldn't pronounce it n I let alone can't remember lol but it all tasted great! (See photos) then we finish our food and move onto dessert. You get a complimentary platter of fig, chocolate strawberries, & apricot. And then we got a birthday dessert it was a chocolate cake that I didn't eat bc I don't like chocolate lol. But the dessert we did order was AMAZING!! It's called a banana froster and it is made table side. Omg I have never had anything so amaZing! See pictures. It has alcohol in it, bananas, and ice cream. U must get it if u dine there!! And before I forget, as Victor made our banana dessert, there was a couple next to us celebrating an anniversary, so with the left over he put it in a little bowl and hands it to the couple which I thought was a sweet touch! They did love the dessert and thanked us for ordering it hehe. My bf joked to myself and said "should we split the bill for dessert haha. But not really we would never do that and it was their anniversary I'm so glad they enjoyed it as much as we did!! Overall everything was great from when u walk in to when u leave. Sorry if I don't go into too much detail about the food I didn't exactly study the menu and remember what was in it but the service was impeccable. We will definitely return! :) don't forget to ask for Victor!
