| - I dropped by here to see about getting a repair eyeglass kit and an adjustment on another pair of glasses. I was out running errands and figured this would only take a couple of minutes, like in the past. When I walked in a woman was standing behind the customer service desk and greeted me. She asked how she could help so I explained the reason for my visit. She said just give her a couple minutes, so I proceeded to take a look around for the repair kit myself. She was still behind the computer desk when I inquired about the screws inside the kit because they looked too big. She said they weren't universal, and to just wait because she was working on another woman's glasses. We were the only three people in the room.
I heard another voice in the back and after I walked around a bit, another woman appeared (the tech). She asked how she could help, but before I could explain to her the other woman jumped in and told her why I was there. Then the phone rang so the tech answered right in front of me, and proceeded to have a personal conversation about why she was working today, and that she could get overtime, blah blah. Ridiculous! So after a couple minutes she asked the person on the phone if she wanted to see if, what I could only assume was the Dr, was available and she put the person on hold. I took a deep breath thinking, "Okay, she'll go check then come back and help me." So she came back and hung up, then walked away!
Meanwhile, another customer had entered the store and was greeted. She was there for her eye appointment. The tech appeared from the back again and began helping her! Slightly irritated, I began to Google other eyeglass places in the area. I figured if I were to get any customer service before I found a place, I would stay and purchase something. I found Nationwide Vision on Chaparral and Hayden, and never got any more acknowledgement from anyone in the office, so I politely set the eyeglass kit on the counter and walked out.
Horrible customer service skills. Needless to say, I won't be back.
