  • Terrible service; constantly miss pickups. We have called several times and customer service is located in NC and has no interest in resolving issues. Three separate times we have asked to speak to a supervisor and are told they will call us - they never do. I highly recommend not to use this service for your trash pickup - highly aggravating experience. 19 Mar 2018 I did receive a call today from a nice gentleman who explained that they have been experiencing some truck issues and along with the weather this has caused some of the pickup issues. He has assured me that a game plan is in place to improve service; I look forward to seeing the improved results. 04 Apr 2018 Despite multiple phone calls and assurances from local Republic team our trash was not picked up again. Not surprising we just paid our bill and there was no discount for the poor service and associated inconvenience. This has been a very disappointing experience. 09 May 2018 Today we were informed without any reason that our trash will not be picked up this week. We called the main office but were told they didn't know why our trash won't be picked up but that it certainly won't be picked up this week. We are in the process of choosing a new trash service and will be ending our relationship with Republic Services as soon as possible. I hope anyone reading this review will take warning and never do business with this company. Given all of the other negative reviews it appears no one at Republic is interested in providing anything of value to its customers. 10 May 2018 We have now signed a new contract with a local waste management company. Spoke directly with the owner and he stated we were the 5th customer to call that day alone to move their trash service away from Republic to his business.
