| - There are few instances embedded in my memory where the food was so terrible that it was worth mentioning. This place should take the BBQ part of their sign down. They are not worthy!
I got the pick three with:
Burnt ends(dry and barely fit for dog food),
Turkey(tasted like a horrible thanksgiving bird or just thick sliced lunch meat. Who serves BBQ with gravy for God's sake?)
Brisket(This is probably the same meat they serve on the roast beef subs at subway, only thicker sliced. No smokey flavor whatsoever.)
The three sauces offered were either bitter, sweet, or bittersweet.
On a great positive, the sides that myself and my lovely companion enjoyed are most likely available at any Walmart deli, or the aisle with Bush's baked beans.
No, seriously, the onion rings were amazing. Good for one appetizer, happy hour drinks and get the hell out!
The server was awesome, and the manager tried to take care of me earlier in the meal. I'm just not the type to make a scene in public over food. When I did mention that the brisket and turkey were like lunch meat with no smokey flavor, I was told that they cater to an older clientele and can't add much smoke flavor.
