  • Joined and was immediately greeted with warm friendly people. Tried my best to make as many classes as possible, but I had to cancel my membership due to their scheduling. 6am, 9am and 10am are the only options in the morning. If I wanted to workout before going to work I had to wake up at 5am. Wrote an email to cancel my membership at the south location and also at the original sin city location since I didn't get a response. Finally heard back a few days later with an email from TJ saying "I'll take care of it". After cancelling saw that I was charged. Called and talked to TJ asking about my charge after cancellation. He had the most unnecessary level of aggression when I asked about my charge. He let me know on the phone that there was a 30 day cancellation notice. I do not recall being told this by him. I believe I said "I don't appreciate the way you are talking to me right now" 3 times because of how aggressive he was by telling me I wasn't getting my money back. I told him I referred 2 people to his location and this makes me want to tell them not to join. His response was "well that's fine" I am confused if that was such a strict policy that they hold their members to, then why wouldn't that be written in response to the cancellation email? It's disappointing when someone has the possibility of having an amazing business but makes a client's entire experience ruined because of someone who completely lacks social grace. Luckily I am blessed to have an awesome bank that refunded by disputed charge due to his vague cancellation email. Not everyone is meant to be an amazing business owner and that's why we have Yelp; to let those know where to spend their time and money. :) There are so many options to go for a workout now a days businesses cannot afford to be on a non compassionate level when taking people's money. Crossfit can be expensive, so please treat yourself to a place that treats their non members as well as their current members. Members are temporary, reputation is forever.
