  • I love it here. I used to live right across the street and would walk here regularly, and now I've moved to Ahwatukee and still make a point to go here. Being a student, I'm always looking for places with free wifi to get a lot of school work done. Xtreme Bean is open late, has wifi that is stable and working properly, with comfortable seating. There have a few sugar free coffee drink options, as well as a variety of hot, iced, and frozen drinks. There's always a decent variety of pastries, bagels, and sandwiches, too. The only minor complaint is that some of the seating areas are a bit warn down (e.g., holes in some places in chairs), but overall it's a great place to do work, even though it's usually incredibly busy. There's even a back room with individual study desks, which is great for focusing and getting homework done. FYIs: If you want to sit outside, be prepared to deal with the smokers. To get to the bathroom, you have to cross from the main building, outside, into the adjacent building. Not a big deal, but if you have an expensive laptop, you might not want to leave it out.
