I do not recommend staying here. It's a rip off. I paid extra for a renovated room as per other Yelp reviews. I had a view of the parking lot although I requested a view of the strip when upgrading and checking in. Check in/registration was a nightmare. Long, depressing, inefficient line. Not want you want to deal with after a long flight. Please don't include your generic: you get what's available response. That will make matters worse. Not appreciated.
The "renovated" room I was (Royal Tower) in does not appear to have been renovated in a decade. The TP holder was rusted over. A roll was shoved in there so you couldn't even dispense the sandpaper tissue provided. The shower head was full of green calcium build up. There was a nasty looking stain in the shower. I wore flip flops to be safe. There was only one pillow on one of the beds. I asked housekeeping for another pillow twice but didn't receive one. Wifi never worked. Room was smokey, walls were paper thin so you can hear all the neighboring guests. Other rooms drunk dialing in the middle of the night.
No interest in the pool.
Water bottle in the hotel is $3-$4 dollars. This was the most egregious in my opinion. The food options are terrible and overpriced.
The casino is dark, smokey, and very outdated. They have the nerve to charge a $30 resort fee for this dump. No refrigerator in the room. No amenities. Just extra fees for basic services. There are several hard sell employees for timeshare tours around the hotel. Disgusting practice by this filthy, money hungry, poorly managed hotel. Harassing you every time you pass them in the hotel several times a day.
I do not recommend. Even Circus Circus is a better option if you are looking for a budget hotel. Pay a little more and avoid a frustrating vacation at a rip off "resort" you plan your hard earned vacation days and money for.
Please do not provide me with a generic response like you have with the other reviews. They are condescending and insulting. Management clearly has no interested in making this a nice hotel. Your generic response just makes things worse. There has been no effort to improve the issues that have been repeatedly been pointed out.
