rev:text	I have visited the Body Blitz spa twice. The first occasion was for a body blitz package, which included a scrub and a massage. I used the therapeutic waters prior to my treatments and enjoyed the waters, sauna and steam room very much. The scrub was fantastic and I highly recommend Joyce, who looked after me very well. I did not have a good experience with my massage, though, and I raised this with staff in the days following. My reasons were that I enjoy deep tissue massages and I did not receive this. I felt the massage was very substandard and at $130 I expected to receive what I requested. The staff knew I wanted a deep tissue massage, so for them to not book me with a therapist who specialised in this seemed a strange choice. I found it offensive that when I raised my concerns in the days after my treatment, it was turned back around on me and I received comments regarding my tight muscles etc and that I should go for more regular massages. This was not the kind of feedback I had wanted, with it also being a bit of a moot point when I currently have deep tissue massage therapy at least once a fortnight and have done for over 6 years. I tried to resolve this with the spa directly before leaving a review, but I have found their response to be unsatisfactory. When I visited for a second time, I only used the thermal waters and my friend had a massage. Leading up to this I l told my friend of my experience and she advised me she hadn't been asked what type of massage she preferred. She therefore phoned back and had to be moved to a different therapist who was able to perform deep tissue massage therapy.
