| - If I had my choice, I wouldn't give this store any star rating because they just don't deserve it. I have been dealing with them for the last few months and upon reading all the reviews listed here, all are true and exactly the same nightmare experiences I'm currently dealing with. I think the worst part in dealing with this company is their customer service department. Every time I call, I'm given the run around. No one knows anything. You get bounced around from one person to the next, having to explain your problem to each person that you get transferred to. The staff do not communicate with each other and they are not willing to find solutions to problems. The staff are inept and lack the necessary business skills to run a business smoothly. They do not display a customer first attitude and neither do they practice it, once a problem arises. I've dealt with several of their staff members, including their supervisor Amber, ( there are two Ambers by the way) who has not only lied and contradicted herself to me on several occasions, but who has set very poor examples for staff to follow and in turn, they too follow the same practice. Their store manager, Conner, whom I've tried many times to talk to, is either on vacation or is always in meetings, thereby avoiding to deal with upset customers.
I found that the staff make promises to you, such as promising to call you back within a certain time frame or promise a delivery date which doesn't happen. Out of my frustration on several occasions to get the staff to deal with my problems, I've had to go down to the store personally to have them work out solutions. I've been to an area behind the customer service desk to speak to a staff member there and to my surprise, this young man, unskilled and unsupervised, who has only been in the job for less than a year, tried to help me but ended up doing everything wrong, not to mention, the lying practice based on miss information went on there too. As a manager myself, I noticed many times that their staff seem outwardly busy, but upon further inspection, I found that they are more interested in gathering for conversation with each other. Certainly this was the case with their sales staff that I have seen many times now just gathered around a desk on the sales floor deep in conversation and ignoring customers as they roam the floor. I spoke with one sales person, after having to follow him to get his attention. He spoke to me as though he was a sleep, not paying attention to what I was asking and I had to repeat myself a little more firmly to get him to react.
In regards to their no return policy, which is an area of frustration to all customers, they need to either honour and back up their product and allow returns in keeping with all stores or remove the "Warehouse" part of their name which makes people think that they can return items. Their delivery schedules, which I have seen, needs to be better organized locally and also their shipment times, which is something they need to deal with, especially with their suppliers overseas.
Leon's is definitely a company with many internal problems which needs to be rectified but can only be resolved with an internal review of this business as a whole. Staff on all levels need serious retraining or staff turn a rounds need to be made. All this can only start with firm leadership and proper management practices at the top.
My only hope is that more people read the reviews and realize that it's always best to buy at a store which puts you first and that their policies are doable. Thanks for reading.
