My husband and I didn't think this place would be such a hit, but we really enjoyed the Alan Bible Visitor Center.
While staying at a nearby RV village - and quite honestly seeking ways to beat the 100°F+ heat - we entered here mid-morning in early September (2017).
They provide free parking and free WiFi. Clean restrooms.
The staff members are friendly and helpful.
We have two toddlers, so we spent quite a bit of time coloring some pages and exploring the various hands-on activities they had on display in their "Desert Discovery Center." It was very informative and worth our time.
Their gift shop while on the small side has some really neat items to bring back pet caretakers.
TIPS
- get your national park passports stamped here
- fantastic views of Lake Mead before you even enter the park & pay a fee (unless of course you have a national park pass)
