  • Found out about Detox Salon through Best of Las Vegas! Initially I was only looking at BOLV to find out who won the food categories until I casually clicked on the Health/Beauty section and found Detox Salon! I checked out their website and found out their hair color uses no ammonia, formaldehyde and other nasties! This stood out to me because I had a very bad reaction to drugstore hairdye years ago that left one of my ears and the back of my scalp peeling and red! I also have dandruff on top of that so all of this leaves me careful about each product I use on my hair. Went in to have partial highlights that was only 2-3 shades lighter than my black hair which Chris did a great job on! About 2 days later however, I suddenly had the desire to go lighter. Made an appointment with Chris the following week and he helped me get there by applying ombre highlights throughout that varied from blonde to light brown. Since then I've gotten so many compliments from family and friends that it still hasn't sunk in! Its a testament to his work and I'm grateful he also recommended me hair products that address my issues while leaving my hair in great shape! Will definitely come back to him if I need a cut or if I want to recolor. He's very easy to talk to and cares about what your looking for with your hair!
