Honestly don't know what I'm giving two stars for.. Maybe because the host was extremely welcoming and eager to seat us even though it was jam packed at 5:30pm on a Sunday and did so within the first 10 mins of arrival. We, among several groups were told 30-45 or even 45-60min waits, but we just got lucky with the bar. Our first server was quick and so was out busser... But like many other AYCE joints, once the first order or two has been taken, they don't come around anymore. Our chef seemed disgruntled the entire time as he served our sad sad looking nigiri. Barely any of it stayed intact when it was picked up. He seemed better at forming rolls. All the food tasted fine, but could the presentation just at least be ALMOST decent? (See pictures below) can't complain about dessert since Mochi ice cream is pre-made. The bf ordered the tempura ice cream which would have been great except it took four, I say FOUR waiters to bring a spoon that the tempura was already soggy. He was still kind enough to tip generously where I admit I might've not been so kind. Other than that, the place looks clean. The decor is inviting. Beyond that, I can't say anymore.
