  • The bagels are undercooked and lack that wooden-stove taste, making these bagels taste like the grocry store bagels in a bag. I cant believe i just threw out a dozen today.... Of course you don't have to drive downtown for good bagels. There is bagel de l"ouest and a great place (the best actually) just south of the 40 on St. Charles.
