  • Doodle Dogs is a fantastic little pet store in Parkland that I didn't even know was there, but they've been open for a year, and it's pretty close to home! I prefer frequenting local pet stores rather than the big chains because of the higher quality items the local stores tend to carry, and Doodle is no exception. The welcoming space offers tons of dog treats that are much higher end than you get at the Big Box stores. Tons of grain-free treats, specialty treats for dogs with allergies, anxiety, etc, and cool items like Doggie Beef broth so you can jazz up your dog's dry food and make him think he's eating in a 5 star restaurant! If you need a winter coat for your pooch, Doodle Dogs carries tons of very high end coats in a vast array of colors, sizes and styles. The owners of the store are very friendly and welcoming, too. P.S. - I also saw catnip there, so I imagine they carry a small amount of cat products too? But this place is definitely a specialty dog store.
