  • We are moving from Virginia to Texas and stopped here for the night. The night staff were very helpful and friendly however the morning staff were not. It was literally like night and day difference. We were told that kids eat free for breakfast. In the morning we decided to go ahead and just eat there to save time. We sat ourselves waited 10 minutes before a staff member came over to talk to us. After 15 minutes we get our drink orders taken. I then start looking for a menu and there is none to be found. After 20 minutes now we finally get something to drink. The woman brings my children barely half a cup of milk with no lid. Well you can only imagine what happened next when you have a two year old (partly our fault for not bringing a sippy cup because we were to tired to look for it and I had asked for one). She then asked me if I wanted coffee after I had ordered it twice and it had been brought out. She then proceeds to spill the coffee all over the cup, plate, and table and blames it on not having her glasses on. Eventually after another 10 minutes we get menus. Then another 10 minutes to order our food. The food comes out Farley quickly. None of our drinks were refilled. Then we finally get our bill and we were charged for our kids cold pancakes and barely one cup total between the two of them. When we asked about the breakfast the front desk gentleman told us no you have to buy a breakfast package. This also was after we had a staff member was caught radioing our vehicle in to verify if our vehicle was registered to someone staying at the hotel. Needless to say after taking 1 1/2 hour to just get through breakfast and the overall incompetence of the morning staff I would not recommend this hotel to others. Customer service goes a long way and the morning staff were lacking.
