  • My somewhat short and sweet review of Dave's Music Mine. Think and do what you will but, the owner of this store should be fined for his unscrupulous business practices. He's mining LP sellers for all the gold records he can buy for 6 cents a piece and then sell them at $9.99. Doesn't matter what condition, that's pathetic. I found one he bought(Porky Chedwick) LP from me on Ebay selling for $49.99. That's a fact it had the same tear as the one I sold him. His "fair" offer was $40 for 100+ LP's was a joke. He's been in business for 20 yrs, he knows a sucker when he sees one. I am bipolar and I was in a depressive mood at the time and he took advantage of that. When I gave him a bad review of this site a couple days later, he didn't offer to give them back like he promises. I later tried to offer a deal with him he brushed off and threatened to sue me for harassment. Wish I had gotten a receipt for this sorry transaction! I would sue him.. When his mine is dried up he'll close up shop and move to Florida and open another shop there. Just like every shady company does.DO NOT SELL YOUR LP'S TO THIS STORE! GO elsewhere. Enough said. This will be my last review warning to any unsuspected people looking to sell their LP collection.
