  • I've had a close family member in the adolescent part twice. Staff has always focused on the patient, and what is most beneficial to their treatment. Everyone has been professional and knowledgeable. This is a short term emergency situation hospital. So there are strict guidelines for visitation, items they can have, phone calls, etc. which is exactly as it should be. They referred us to an excellent therapist after discharge. One of the things I'm most impressed with is how well the staff communicates with each other. Everyone is on the same page and up to date with the patients needs. They always call me before they start any medication and explain to me exactly what it's for and why the Doctor feels it's needed. The Doctor himself has called me twice to discuss the patients history and to discuss a treatment plan. I am 100% confident that my loved one is safe and well cared for here. They all are top notch. I have a few mental ill family members. So I've dealt with several facilities. This one is by far way above the rest.
