  • I am still frustrated whenever I dry my hair. It has been 6 months since I had a bad experience of Japanese Yuko straightening treatment by hair artist Angelo. I finally made up my mind to share with everyone what happened to me. My hair is naturally curly (small waves), I have a Japanese Yuko treatment every 12~15 months. (Normally after this chemical straightening, treated hair will stay straight for over a year, without having to iron them or any special care, until new curly grown hairs are too long to keep a good hair style). I paid Angelo 350USD to receive this treatment. After 3~4 hours of work at the look society, I waited 3 days before I wash my hair, it was still curly. I called him(almost cried), He said he used the wrong product.....(see our text messages from the screen shots). But he said my hair can be done again without causing damages to it. After 2 days he did my hair again with the Rusk products. (He promised it will do the work this time!) The whole process took 4 hours. (When I got in, he was reading the instructions on the paper box. I should have taken it as a bad signal........) Again! No success! he didn't wait long enough with the first softening dose of chemical. (I've had 20 times of Japanese Yuko straightening experience in my life, and I pretty much know what was wrong). As was told, I washed my hair after 5 days this time, just to find out it is still curly ( no difference as before). No a surprise really! He said he will do it with L'OrĂ©al products again.... I refused his third offer. I wrote this review is because I have to get this out of my chest. And please! If you really don't have the know-how, just be humble and say I don't know how to make it happen.... instead of trying to make my hair straight with chemicals 3 times in 10 days. (Definitely a no to him for the 3rd time! Enough practices!) The blue messages are from me! White messages are from him. See what happened to me! Wish you all lucky with your hair artists!!!
