rev:text	After hunting online for highly recommended hair salons in my area I came across Studio 301 and decided to book a much needed hair appointment. I went in wanting a change from my usual long haired trim and Petra was friendly and helpful. I ended up deciding to get both a color and cut. Right off the bat Petra admitted that she hadn't expected me to want coloring so she had to juggle me between another booked appointment. I really appreciated her honesty but it still made me feel a little uncomfortable and worried that the end result of my hair wouldn't turn out the best. The cut itself, however, actually turned out great and she did an awesome job (especially since I've had a long hair style for a very very long time and it had been the first time in years that I had it cut to a short length). The coloring though... it was okay. I'm not sure if it was because she had to juggle me with another client or that coloring just isn't her forte but it just didn't turn out the way I wanted. It wasn't a "what have you done?!" type dye job but it didn't have me jumping for joy. My original hair color was a mousy light brown and I wanted it lightened to a golden blonde. The end result was a flat blonde that in some lighting looks too yellow for my taste. In the future I think I'm going to have my hair colored elsewhere but I'm definitely going back for a cut.
