  • I took my car to Spring Mountain Autobody to be repaired after an accident in 2008. This year I was hit by a cab. My car crumpled like a tin can. I was very lucky to be alive. When I took my car to a new autobody place, recommended by my insurer, the new shop discovered that Spring Mountain had not done what they said they did to fix my car. Instead of welding the panels of my car together (customary), they attached them WITH SHEET METALS SCREWS AND GLUE! No wonder my car collapsed with the impact. The new shop tells me that if I'd been hit at a different angle I could have been killed. My car is basically being rebuilt by the new shop. I was completely defrauded by the people at this shop: they did not repair my car in a safe or even legal manner. There are standards imposed by the state of Nevada for body shops and this shop DOES NOT do repairs that meet those standards. They ought to be ashamed. No wonder they had to move to a new location on Arville!! Their reputation must have finally caught up with them. What they did is criminally negligent, if I gave a damn about staying in this state I'd sue the sh!t out of them. DO NOT GO HERE.
