  • Butterfield Acres is a disreputable business. I had my son signed up there for a 1 week summer camp this past summer (2012). The weekend before the camp started, my son got an infection and spent the following week in the Alberta Children's Hospital and missed the camp. I phoned, emailed, and mailed a copy of the Hospital's letter to Butterfield Acres to try to get a refund. They refused to return my phone calls, reply to my emails, or acknowledged receipt of my mailed letter. I contacted the Better Business Bureau who contacted Butterfield Acres, and to this day (October 14, 2012), I have not heard anything from them or received a refund for the camp. I have been passing on the bad review to many friends and aquaintances and have learned that many people already know how poorly this business is run, and say they would never go back. So, don't waste your money!
