  • I began searching for a self defense weapon for my wife, and after much research identified a model and found it at Scottsdale Guns. Since I live in another state, it was complicated and tedious to purchase the weapon. I began communicating with Craig P. and he walked me through the process and made it very easy. They had a fair price for the weapon, and it was shipped and in my possession in a short amount of time. Craig was informative and very good at communicating and walking me through the process. So why the 4 stars you ask? I replaced the grip on the firearm and inspected it. It was covered in carbon and the trigger was scorched. All in all, the weapon was fairly dirty. I cleaned it but the trigger is permanently scorched. I took the firearm out and test fired it. After about 20 rounds it jammed and the trigger would not fire. I went home and took the firearm apart and noted the inner working of the trigger and cylinder release were caked in carbon. I cleaned everything spotless, oiled everything and it seemed to cure the problem. It's firing perfectly with no issues. So I took 1 star away for the condition of the weapon. The customer service provided by Scottsdale Guns is a solid 5. Price was fair and the process painless and educational. Craig gets 5+ stars.
