  • Some things never change, in this case the MGM Grand. Vegas is weird in that you don't know where you are, what day it is, much less what time of day. The MGM hasn't changed in years, but it manages to feel familiar and welcoming rather than aged. On our latest visit, we came here only to go to Hakkasan, and I was very impressed with the customer service. We were allowed to check bags even though we weren't officially guests of the hotel. I was skeptical about this before coming, still skeptical when a guy took our bags and gave us a ticket, and stunned when, at 5am, we got our bags back in the same condition as we dropped them off. Pro Tip: If you're looking for an outlet, there are some by the left wall of the poker area. They're surprisingly hard to find in the lobby.
