| - Why would anyone ever eat Americanized Asian food on the Las Vegas strip you may ask? And why would I give it 4 stars?
Here's the kicker: If you're hosting a large Bachelor party (10+ guys), and don't want to drop thousands of dollars on bottle service (face it, some people in your party don't mind spending, but others want to keep $$$ to a minimum), this is your place. If everyone in your party orders an "entree" (which range from $30-$45), you get free admission into the club. The best part is that you can bypass the ridiculous line altogether! It's a win-win situation...considering the entrance fee would have been $40 for guys. Keep in mind the club opens at 10pm, so schedule your dinner upwards of 8pm.
Going back to the food, my expectations were pretty low. I was expecting extremely sub-par PF chang's style food, but I actually came out decently impressed. I ordered the Pepper beef filet Mignon and it had quite a bit of meat and decent flavor. The beef was tender and cooked pretty well. The Sea bass would probably be the star entree here. I got to try some of it and it was actually pretty good (think Yardhouse Sea Bass).
Long story short, if you're looking into getting 10 guys into a club and don't want to wait in line, Tao Asian Bistro should definitely be at the top of your list. The food here is just a perk of getting into the club, but don't be surprised if you enjoy the food (stick with the pepper filet mignon, sea bass, or scallops and you'll be fine) . 4 stars.
