  • This place is a classic French bistro on St. Denis that has solid service and food. In terms of value, ambiance, service and food quality this place is a must try when you are in Montreal. Will you be blown away? Probably not. But you will be charmed and satisfied by the food and service. Love everything from the bread basket, complimentary cornichons and mustard and the lovely French dishes. Bone marrow is great, their French fries are excellent and I loved the salmon with beurre blanc sauce. Lots of wines to choose at all price points and they serve an excellent port here. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, a bottle of wine and a glass of port and it was all under $175 including a generous tip. We left the place stuffed, a little tipsy and oh so happy.
