  • I don't get all the hype about this place. First off the atmosphere is that of a retirement home. A pink flamigo holding a wine bottle at the bar? Goofy decor! Booths are uncomfortable. I'm not sure what was going on but the staff seemed depressed. (Bartender was very personable and charming) My waiter was nice but kinda creepy and depressed. The matronly head waitress seemed very upset we could hear them from our booth by the kitchen. (Noisy high traffic area)Next time maybe they should consider arguing behind closed doors away from diners Food was good for the most part. The goat cheese wontons seemed better as a dessert than a first course. Too sweet. Skirt steak was chewy but had a good bean sauce. Loved the tuna but the short rib was predictable. Apparently you can't get potatos instead of rice with mahi mahi beacause our waiter doesn't want to get "yelled at" Poor selection of wines by the glass.
