rev:text	I've been to the Spa at Markville a few times over a period of a few months, so I can say with confidence that their services are generally pretty consistent and of high-quality. My first experience was with a day package that my friends got me as a bridal shower gift. It included a mani/pedi, 60-minute massage, and a lunch. The mani/pedi was fine: I found they could've spent more time on the experience of it (ie. the foot massage, etc), but the work was done well and both sets of polish lasted me a few weeks, with only minor chipping. The lunch was dainty: little cucumber and salmon sandwiches in a tasetfully decorated dining area. It wasn't terribly filling (I kinda like to eat...!) but, again, it was in line with the rest of the spa experiece; very delicated, girly, fresh. The service for both of these first two parts of the day were great: no one aggressively came after me, but I was directed to where I needed to go and everyone was friendly, and accomodating. I ended with the massage, which was terrific. The massage room was dim, smelled nice (but not overpowering) and my masseuse was skilled. I also appreciated that she didn't try to chat me up. I know this is a matter of personal opinion, but I've been for massages where the masseuse would not shut up...I am paying for relaxation and quiet, damnit! If I want to chat, I'll make it clear I do, otherwise, please be quiet! I received a fluffly robe, slippers, the works, before my massage. My belongings were safely tucked away into a private locker during the massage. My experience was positive, so I later booked a his-and-hers massage for my husband and I months later. He's a big guy, and when I mentioned this at the time of booking, staff immediately made a note of it and made sure to book him with one of their stronger masseuses, instead of someone with dainty little fingers...! This may sound funny, but it makes a HUGE difference, and he definitely appreciated it. Our experience was again, very positive, and I'd love to return again. Their packages are pretty on par with other spas, and it makes a difference to tip generously.
