| - This is a hard review for me to write...
I got married at the Sky Chapel on Valentine's Day. The Linq hotel is newly renovated and the chapel really is beautiful. However, the ceremony itself had a big mishap. They have a really nice and affordable package, which is the main reason I chose to get married there. BUT they sent me down the isle without FLOWERS! I was told at least 3 THREE times that we had to be on time and if we started late that we'd be charged $300. So on-time, all good... half-way down the isle, I realize my groom isn't wearing his boutonniere, which in turn made me realize I don't know what to do with my arms, because I don't have a bouquet! So we start again and the wedding coordinator tries to give me the fake flowers. NO! That's not what I paid for. I want my real flowers. Ok so take two. All is well. The minister kinda sucked and parts of the ceremony were kinda uncomfortable but all said and done, we're married and we're happy.
After we get back home, I get in touch with the manager of the chapel and she tries to smooth things over with a free photo disk, so thank you. But then when we get our wedding video, THEY CUT OUT THE BLOOPER! I mean I know I was mad about it, but it was still part of the ceremony and part of my memory. I was really hoping to look back and laugh at it, but now it's just another thing that I'm mad about! Why would you delete that!?!?!
So that's my story. In short, the chapel is pretty and its financially a good deal. Would I get married here again? Absolutely not. I would have been better off at a $99 chapel.
