THIS HAPPY HOUR MENU IS LEGIT. Really, really great time with the parents sampling their happy hour tapas and drinks. $3 house sake and other cheap drinks! But the dishes are what's fun and truly "fusiony". Loved the brussel sprouts with a hint of sweetness paired with savory flavors. Sushi rolls were fresh. Soba noodle was refreshing. Everything was inventive and well-presented. I have seen other happy hour menus and I appreciate not just the variety of choices here but also that they are one flat price of $5. Deservedly, it does seem to get busy pretty quickly as dinnertime approaches. It made my parents, who are traditionalists when it comes to Japanese cuisine, surprised and even a little impressed with the food and that you can actually go to a Japanese restaurant and not always have to order the same sushi/sashimi combo. Great place for family or dates. Will return as long as I'm in the area, for sure!
