  • I researched for months for a beauty team for my destination wedding to Las Vegas. I came across Bella Brides and spoke with Michelle. I began sending her pictures of hair and makeup looks I wanted for me and my bridesmaids. We had different phone conversations about what looks would be best with my wedding dress which I sent her pics of also. So fast forward about 3 months...On the day of the wedding Michelle and her makeup artist were late which was crucial to timing. Michelle did not have any of the images I spent so much time sending her and it was just like starting from scratch with her when she asked me 'So what are we doing?'. She did my bridesmaid who had the longest hair first...she took so much time into doing all 3 of my bridesmaids that when it came to me who was the bride, it was not much time left. I was horrified when I looked in the bathroom mirror. My makeup was so dark and I had on drag queen lashes. My hair was alright, but I felt she did a nicer and more elegant style on my first bridesmaid. I had to have my makeup fixed and the lashes changed...on a wedding day I should look natural, bright and beautiful...NOT DARK and gloomy. My makeup was horrible and it really showed in the pictures even when they tried to go over the darkness with a gold. When I arrived back home...I spoke with Michelle and told her I would not be giving her a good review. She did refund the money and was aware of what went wrong. I blame her for the awful job on my makeup and for me not loving the way I looked on my wedding day and not having the confidence I should have had on my day. I would never recommend her services, sure she is nice...but that does not make up for my unhappiness. I should have been so happy and felt so beautiful. All my time and effort went to waste. Shame on Bella Brides for ruining the most special time of my life! Now we will have to reinact my wedding again and take pictures all over again and hire a makeup and hair team again. I am very upset. The Bride should be #1 and satisfied. I have also posted this review elsewhere.
