  • I've been coming to this alterations place since I moved to Charlotte. I've had over 10 pairs of pants done here, a suit jacket, some dress hemming, two pairs of shoes and a sweater repair. Oh and a knitted Kangol-style hat needed some repair. All done expertly, quickly and with a smile! I did have one item she could not repair which was a zipper replacement in a puffer vest. I also had a pair of shoes that needed stretching which she cautioned may not yield the result intended. She was kind about it, so what are you gonna do? Despite her best efforts (twice) the shoes did not stretch. There was no charge. You can't ask for everything. There can be a slight language barrier, but only if YOU let it happen. Both owners speak English and while it may not be perfect, I've never had a problem whatsoever communicating with them. No stars off for that. Take your items here.
