  • After checking this new place out in my hood, it was a let down. It looked pretty from the outside, but I was disappointed in the food and prices. The macaroons were good but nothing amazing- overpriced. The one my friend had a bit of a freezer burnt taste so that was weird. Overall, the pricing of the stuff was ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend it for those reasons plus the possibility of a freezer burnt macaroon. Ironically, a girl I work with told me after I went that there used to be a Ruelo in her neighbourhood (Yonge & Eglinton) but closed down less than a year of opening because it was getting bad wrap for their food and service. Here's hoping better luck this time around!
