Chris "the Pacific sales manager" (unshaven) just ruined my great day. So much I don't ever want to use Best Buy ever again. I bought all my home appliances TVs Xbox videos video games Etc all from this location. My last purchase was a 4K Sony TV, the best 55-inch 4K Sony makes, and an Xbox 1s. To make the deal the salesman offered me what is supposed to be the best cable audioquest pearl, at a great price. 50% off the cable. I told him I needed a 10-foot cable. When I got home and was installing the TV on the wall mount and running cables through the wall the cable he gave me was two meters, not long enough. So I used the existing 10 foot HDMI cable I had for the time being. Today I had to go to BestBuy to purchase a large iPad Pro and I brought the cable to exchange it for the correct one. So as I'm trying to do the transaction for the cable and talking to the salesman about the iPad this guy Chris who's supposably the Pacific sales manager tells me he is now going to charge me full price for the correct cable and he wouldn't take the original cable back or give me a store credit or exchange it for anything. As you could imagine I found this not only one of the worst decisions ever for a sales manager to make to a long-time loyal customer but just plain senseless. The salesman that was serving me with my iPad Pro purchase and even the girl that was doing the exchange had a look of shock on their faces and more as they saw the iPad Pro purchase evaporate $900+. I was in shock and I try to calculate this cable deal out for him and explain that it's their mistake that I'm even there with the cable in the first place. He wasn't hearing nothing he wanted all his chintzy little cable money even though the mistake was on Best Buy. I wasn't even complaining or upset about the cable. I just figured the salesperson made a mistake because the cable is measured in meters and not feet. Totally understandable. And I didn't catch it. Actually I didn't even check it the salesman seemed so knowledgeable I just presumed everything was okay. So anyway this guy Chris the Pacific sales manager irritated me so much and wasn't exchanging or returning the cable no credit no store nothing just wanted nothing to do with me. I decided not to purchase the iPad Pro there at Best Buy and we'll never go to that store ever again. It's a free country. He could make Best Buy into Bad Buy or in my case, NO BUY. I will be posting this for thousands upon thousands to see on social media. See how many potential 10s of thousands of dollars it will cost over years. UNBELIEVABLE!
