I know one should not expect much when tanning at a nail salon (especially a nail salon that's completely void of clients on a Saturday afternoon) but I was cold and in the area with time to kill.
I didn't expect much- what I did expect was a lock on the door of the tanning room so you can imagine my surprise when I'm told to go to the last room on the right. I did as told- went to slide the doors shut and could find a lock (note the doors didn't even completely meet in the center). So I went out to ask and was told (by one of the ladies yelling from the pedicure chair) "its fine, when the doors shut we know there's someone in there"
I was so confused- anyone who's been in a tanning bed realizes- you're completely naked- and the the actual top of the bed doesn't completely seal against the bottom portion either... so- with this and these doors that don't meet entirely- and don't lock... anyone walking by could totally peek in..
She found it odd that I was uncomfortable with this...
I was very confused...
