I will never do business with David's Bridal AGAIN. Absolutely never. They are supposed to be the leading bridal store and they were so unprofessional and unorganized and the employee's main concern when dealing with you is getting commission. Do not give this place your time of day. You will regret it.
I'm going to have to skip a lot of details since I don't want this review to be 15 pages long. It was my worst experience so far planning my wedding.
-Everyone I spoke with except for the manager was incompetent
- I was lied to multiple times about when my dress would be able to be delivered (their little trick to make you buy a dress that day instead of waiting, no matter what day I was going to buy my dress it was always going to be there "20 days before my wedding" no matter what dress or when I ordered it)
-They lied to me about appointments 3 times. They said they were busy and couldn't take anyone and when I physically walked into the store they were completely free and someone was available to help me but on the phone they will try to tell you they're all booked and then look embarrassed when you walk in.
-Deangelo rushed me through my entire appointment and started helping other people while he was helping me
-I had to scream at people on the phone just to come in and try on the dress I had already bought when all the employee's were moseying around the store not doing anything
-Deangelo ordered my dress 2 SIZES TOO SMALL. So if I wouldn't have argued on the phone with the employee's for 45 minutes to come try the dress on again I was going to be SCREWED since my dress wasn't coming in until 20 DAYS before my wedding
-I was never given a tulle to put on under my dress which is REALLY important as it makes the dresses look COMPLETELY different on you.
-They lied and said if I ordered a dress instead of walking out with one I had on they couldn't guarantee it would be new. They want you to walk out of the store with the dresses that are missing beading with ripped tulle and make up stains inside of it so that they can get a brand new dress in it's place. For about $1,000 I should be getting a brand new dress, but they say they can't ensure that. They should tell you when you walk through the door that basically everything you get it used.
Jessica the manager is the only person I dealt with in this week long fight with David's Bridal that actually helped me and seemed like she kind of knew what she was doing. After this whole ordeal I finally got the dress I wanted and instead of coming in 20 days before my wedding it's now coming in in less than 30 days. So apparently if you argue with enough people the shipping magically changes.
