  • This is not a favorite spot of mine. I'll explain. I come here every now and then when someone invites me to eat, but this wouldn't be my first choice. Now don't get me wrong the customer service and employees are great but since it came under new management the food is different and overpriced. Something else that I really don't understand. A Mexican dish usually comes with beans AND rice. This place you get beans OR rice with a dish. Really? Not only is it overpriced but I have to pay extra for a side that should come with a dish. Thats like peanut butter with no jelly on a sandwich unless I pay extra. Other places serve both. When I cooked at a Mexican restaurant we served both beans and rice. Don't even get me started on their desserts. This place needs to get with the program. Many people may love this place and think its bomb but someone such as myself who has worked in the restaurant/food industry for many years I know better. The 2 stars are for the staff and customer service. Maybe one day their dishes might earn some.
