  • I would highly recommend Way Cool Tattoos as the first place to check out if you are interested in getting inked... All of the staff are very friendly, and put you at ease immediately. Although this was not my first tattoo, it was a coverup of my first tattoo, and it was by far the best experience I have had in a tattoo/piercing shop. To start off with, my artist, Dan, suggested that my chosen design might not be suitable for a coverup, as it was a flat colour drawing I did of a robot. Instead, he suggested that he would be able to do a better job if I gave him some time to adjust for shading and more depth. This initial consultation was 5 days ago. Today, I got my tattoo, and when I saw the drawing it was love at first sight. Not only did he repurpose my design, he made it so much better. The shading was intensely detailed, the colours were much richer, and he added a nice personal little fun touch of electric bolts coming off of the robot's head, which I had not even thought of, but now adore. I would highly recommend letting their artists take your design and work with it, as I was definitely extremely pleased with the results. During my tattoo, every effort was taken to make sure I was comfortable. Several times I was given a chance to look at the work in progress along the way, and every ten minutes or so, I was asked if I needed a break (which I didn't, except once because I drink too much coffee!) I would highly recommend Way Cool Tattoos to anyone considering a tattoo, whether it be your first one, one of many, or even a cover up. I felt that the staff here all cared very much about good results and a happy customer. The other artists when not busy came to check out the work being done on me, and made very friendly conversation. I couldn't be happier, and am already thinking up which design I'll take to have done for my next visit here!
