| - Petiri Edmund or he goes by Pete from Painters Painting solutions inc is the owner. If you don't have time to read the entire review, just take this from my experience... RUN AWAY!!! do not let this man or his shady crew into your home. It will cost you thousands and extreme headache. photos and videos to show this nightmare. numbers he uses 704-737-3007 and 704-774-6764
So I purchased a newer home, second owner. I had extensive custom woodwork trim done inside. Pete gave me an estimate and asked for a quarter of the payment upfront. (big mistake on my end as job was very expensive) that would also include the paint from Sherwin-Williams and color code selection. When I arrived the paint he already started painting with was a baby blue! not a light gray I asked for. When I questioned him about it he got upset and defensive. he said that the name brand paint we asked for would cost extra and he saved himself money by buying paint from somebody that mixes paint out of town. discussing this issue got me nowhere, so I went to Sherwin-Williams and I purchased $1,200 in paint, wanting to just get the project over with as we needed to move in soon. Hoping now things would go smooth and no issues. Nope. Pete complains about all the trim and wood work he has to fill and nail holes to cover before painting and just keeps asking for more money. so guess what, he doesn't fill all the holes or seams in the woodwork. he slaps primer and then paint on top, running edges, missed a bunch of areas, paint dried up running. trim is painted in some areas and less visible areas he skips. walls have one shade of paint and see through when he promised to do 2 coats, doesn't even bother to take off the light switch covers and paints over some of them partially! Friends and family came down to see progress on our home and were shocked! asking if I had teenagers paint the house that never painted before! He also was smoking in the house when I asked him not to and very rude. His crew spilled paint on my hardwood floors and carpet. Permanently damaging my flooring in the upstairs and downstairs! When I questioned the quality and damage Pete got very aggressive and asked for half the money for the job so he could leave. Leaving me with this horrific mess to clean up. I told him he did a fraction of the work upstairs and I would need to have it all redone by professionals and my floors are ruined. he shrugged and said he wants his money. I told him to keep the money I gave him upfront and to take his tools and pack up. Just to get him out of my house for safety concern. He started yelling and threatening me that he will get the rest of the money one way or another. I was forced to call the police as I felt it would get ugly at this point, and Pete's crew quickly grabbed there tools and scattered. He posts on Craigslist so BEWARE. He called a couple more times and sent demands for additional payment and called me very rude and dirty words via text. I hired a professional to come in and sand all the walls and trim work that Pete damaged, down to the drywall and the new company is caulking and filling all the holes and seams that Pete skipped on the wood work and repainting the entire home. this project cost me 3 times what it was supposed to because of horrible contractors like Pete that lie, cheat and steal. I was forced to hire an attorney as a result. Hope this helps everyone out there looking for a painter. Do not call this guy.
