  • ****Do not be deceived by Google Reviews**** Our A/C went out on the hottest day of the year so far (Tuesday 06/20/17). The soonest Platinum could send someone out was Friday (06/23/17). So in a desperate attempt of getting it fixed now, I reached out and I got an emergency repair from Foley who was able to get it working that day. However, Foley reported the whole unit needed to be replaced soon, we were told it is essentially "like driving on over-inflated bald tires". I contacted Platinum again who agreed to send Gilbert out to take a look on Friday (I was OK with waiting this time as Foley was able to get it working temporarily). Gilbert arrived as scheduled, but, I immediately did not like the way he was talking down to me. He was correcting my terms, not in a "let me educate you" way but rather a condescending way (look Gilbert, you do A/Cs I do HR). He went on our roof and came back to report "it looks good". On top of that, he showed me "pictures I just took of your unit". It did not take a second for me to know that they were photos he had on his phone prior to arriving to my house. So today (Monday 7/3/17), my "healthy A/C" is not working again. Surprise! I called Platinum again to request that they replace it, and they agreed to send someone out to take a look on Wednesday. When they told me it was Gilbert they would be sending out, I asked for someone else; "it looks like we have Jacob who can be out there today between 2-4". WHAT!! You had someone available today and you tried to schedule me for three days out... Did I mention my A/C is not working and it summer in Chandler?
